Q.- How far do you have to go to find great deep sea fishing?
Inside the Bay fish are scarce, bonita, huachinango and Mahi-Mahi once in a while. If you want to catch huge Marlin, Sailfish, Wahoo and Giant Tuna...The world class deep sea fishing begins right outside the Bay past the Marietas Islands. Corbeteña and El Banco are the names of the shallow spots where you find the best deep sea fishing, about 18 miles off-shore
Q.- How long are the cruises?
Half Day Cruises: Sunset cruises, snorkeling and fishing inside Banderas Bay are a minimum of 4-5 hours and include one meal on board.
Full Day Surf Trips and Bay Cruises: are usually 8-12 but may last up to 24 hours and include 2 or 3 delicious meals and beverages on board.
Deep Sea Fishing Trips: Include ice chests fishing rods, tackle and fishing licences ... live bait, food and beverages are extra. Depending on the boat...we can provide them on request.

A. We operate our surfing cruises to Punta Mita the Northernmost Point of Banderas Bay –
B. And we cruise North to Chacala, San Blas and Matanchen Bay
C. or South to Chamela, Pascuales and Manzanillo, Colima
Q. Is this a safe place for a family vacation?
A. Yes, very safe ! Particularly on our trips because we take you directly from the airport to Yacht Sylvester or to your accommodations at Punta Mita which is the Northernmost Point of Banderas Bay.
Q.- Where is Punta Mita located?
A.- The name Punta Mita says it all. It means the Middle Point of Mainland Mexico. This was the name given to this landmark by the Spanish Conquistadors in ancient times while cruising along the coast on their way to the Missions of Baja and Alta California.
Q. What is the best time of year to visit Puerto Vallarta, Banderas Bay and Punta Mita ?
A. All swell directions break in this huge area, so it is consistent and reliable for most of the year. Southern Hemisphere, Summer Hurricane and Winter Aleutian Swells all fire here. Wind conditions are almost always favorable and although off shore winds are prominent year round, windsurfing is best in winter and spring.
Q. What are the waves like at your location?
A. On any given day of swell, there are over 20 (yes…twenty) spots to choose from, offering everything from long fun peeling point breaks, to fast thick barreling grinders, to sizable or huge offshore reefs. Most of these spots are either inaccessible by vehicle or require trespassing on fenced off private property, closely patrolled by armed guards and long walks to the beach
Q. Do I need a passport to enter Mexico?
A. It is advisable to travel abroad with a passport. You may enter Mexico with an original birth certificate if you are a U.S. citizen.
Q. What about the food and water is it safe?
A. Both the water is safe and each meal of the food we serve on board is a delicious feast.
Q. How is Banderas Bay different from other places in Mexico and the Central American Countries?
