Mild 80 degree days, panoramic tropical and semi deciduous forest scenery. Crystal clear ocean waters await you in Banderas Bay/Puerto Vallarta, Mexico one of the five richest ecosystems in the world, which are just a few of the reasons why Banderas Bay has become a most popular and ever growing vacation hot spot. Tips for Fishing in Puerto Vallarta / Banderas Bay and Punta Mita:
Have all charter costs explained to you up front.
Choose a charter company that is large enough to best meet your needs and provide you with the right size boat for you and your party.
Find out what type of fish you can expect to catch.
Enlist an English-speaking Captain - you need to have your wishes communicated! ·
Make all fishing arrangements before you go to Puerto Vallarta - don't get hustled by the vendors on the streets or at the dock !
Investigate the charter operation's policy to implement alternative arrangements in case of bad weather or a broken boat!
Ask about the charter's cancellation and refund policy. ·
Bring along a hard plastic cooler if you wish to bring your catch home with you.
